Bible Verse

Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
1 John 4:11 (Read all of 1 John 4)New International Version

My Thoughts:
This verse is so powerful, yet it is so difficult for people to live by. The love of our Lord is so amazing and so strong, that He can and does forgive us for our sins. In His eyes, a sin is a sin is a sin. No sin is bigger than another to Him. To Him, they are all transgressions against Him. If we, as Christians, know this to be true and know that we ought to love one another, why don't we? Why can't we hate the sin and not the sinner? Why are we picking and choosing what we want to believe from the Bible?
In this day and age, there is so much hate and intolerance, we would be so much better off if we could live by 1 John 4:11.
