For it is commendable if a man bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because he is conscious of God. 1 Peter 2:19
My Thoughts
Unjust suffering. What does that mean? It sounds so terrible, doesn't it? Your own perception of unjust suffering will, no doubt, be tainted by your own personal experiences. In the midst of this suffering, it takes an amazing Christian to stay focused on the Lord. I know several women who do just that. Their stories are incredible. I am in awe of them and their strength. I can only pray that I will remember these women and their stories, and seek the Lord should I be faced with suffering.
