I have been absent from this blog for almost a week! I was sick and so was Timmy. It's so annoying to have a cold. When your child gets one at the same time, it takes everything out of you - including my desire to post blog entries!
A wonderful thing happened to me recently - I was sent an email from www.faithandfamilyarticles.com to notify me that the article I had submitted made me one of the 7 top authors for the month! Answered Prayers Aren't Always What We Expect It was an article I had written about my husband's cancer as it related to an answered prayer.
I posted my thoughts recently about my need to return to work. I was writing from my heart, and apparently it touched a few people. I have been left comments by blog readers and have had phone calls and notes from friends. It's nice to know that people read my blog and that people were touched by what I said.
I had a job interview on Saturday for a lead teacher position in a day care. The interview went very well and I should hear about the job on Friday. I am praying that this position will work out, as it will allow me to have Timmy at work with me. If I have to return to work, it is the ideal situation.
