I've said it before and I will say it again, I am worried about the drug problem not only in our country, but in my little area of NH - it is running rampant. It's almost as if people today are too lazy to find a natural high, so they experiment with drugs. Once they experiment a few times, they are hooked and keep going back for more. It's a terrible cycle. It frightens me to think about what the future holds for my little man. Even though he's 2 years old, I still find myself researching ways to ward off drug use. The best I can come up with is starting to foster an open communication now.
In my research, I found a non-profit
drug rehab referral service. I imagine that, you can call a number for free and find a treatment center that will work best for you and your family. They help find programs for drug addicts, alcoholics, chronic relapse victims, and families. They also offer information and links to the different kinds of drugs and addictions out there.
While I hope I never need to use a service like this, I am glad it's out there. I wrote this blog to help spread the word, because I am concerned about the drug problem we are facing today. If you're not convinced this non-profit
drug rehab referral service works, you can read success stories from parents and students of the programs.
