When I Am An Old Woman

I have been tagged by Jenny.

Sometimes I wonder how old I will live to be. I have days where I feel terribly old (this is relative folks) and days where I still feel like I did at 22 (most times that passes when the indigestion sets in or my hip starts to ache - it's a mere fleeting feeling, but a feeling none-the-less).

When I am an old woman, I hope to:

  1. Be an excellent story teller.
  2. Make my family laugh.
  3. Still be able to bake some of the best cakes around.
  4. Have the breasts of a 20 year old - I don't have those now, but you never know what plastic surgery breakthroughs will happen to me 50 years from now.
  5. Look back at my life with satisfaction and pride with the way I lived.

When I am an old woman, I will not:

  1. Have collections of useless things, like packets of sugar or ketchup from the local eatery.
  2. Drive if I am unable to see over the steering wheel.
  3. Pinch the cheeks of children.
  4. Procrastinate....I have plenty of time to get that out of my system now - maybe I should set a goal of "no more procrastinating when as of 50." Wait...that's on 17 years from now...maybe that goal is a little lofty!
  5. Let my family forget just how fabulous I am!

I don't have anyone to tag, but feel free to participate, if you'd like.

I love your list!! When you get your fabulous breasts, make sure you give me the name of your doctor!
